Common leasing standards treatment is set to have a major disruption on businesses that lease or own commercial real estate. If you don't currently put leases on the balance sheet you're going to want to start figuring out what that will do to your finances. Lease obligations and the related right-to-use will have to be moved to the balance sheet. This fall (2011) the FASB/IASB will put out a new Exposure Document for review (the last one was August 2010, and the new one will have major revisions).
